FAITH FORMATION

We serve all public school and homeschool children

Kindergarten to 8th grade

How we will serve you

When you brought your children to be baptized, you accepted the responsibility of training them in the practice of the faith.

We are thrilled and excited to be your partner in this responsibility.

  • We look upon Faith Formation as a total parish experience involving not just your child, but also parents, families, catechists, and priests that form our parish community of faith.
  • Faith Formation is a life-long process.

Our Mission

The ultimate mission of our Faith Formation Program is to lead the children and young people of Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish into greater relationship with Jesus Christ. To know and love Jesus in this life will allow them to be with Him in the next. We strive to help all children and their families know what is expected of every person who chooses to follow Jesus in the Catholic tradition and the life of grace He won for us all.

Who and when should a child attend Faith Formation classes?

  • Classes, for Kindergarten through 8th Grade public and homeschool students. We offer High School classes as needed on a limited basis.
  • Classes take place from the middle of September through the end of April.
  • Classes are offered on Wednesday and Thursday, by a loving group of faithful and dedicated volunteers.
  • We welcome ALL children, including those with special needs.
